Rig 'em Right Waterfowl Jerk Cord Review:
If you need to add some movement to your spread, and don't want to mess with battery operated spinners, or quiver decoys then this old school idea fits the bill. The rig can turn your day around when the winds are calm and the ducks won't commit. This complete jerk cord kit is ready to go right out of the box. It comes with a claw type anchor that has a collar on it that locks it open or closed, and the line is parachute cord that is attached to a section of bungee cord material. There are 4 stainless snap swivels that attach to the decoys keel. The line can be wrapped back up using the plastic cord keeper, and the cord and anchor fit into a small nylon bag. It can be slipped into a jacket pocket or into your decoy bag. One thing I would like to see improved is once you have the rig set up and have the cord running back to shore or your boat, there isn't a good way to keep it handy, I end up putting it in a pocket and then pull on the slack, but it would be great if it was possible to hang it from a Carabineer or something similar.
