GV Snowshoes Snow Aerolight (10 x 36) Review:
Ever since I purchased these, we haven't had much measurable snow to really give these a good workout. I have used them a couple of times and have been really happy with how they have performed. The bindings on these shoeshoes are easy to put on and have a lot of clearance between the binding and the body of the snow shoe to allow for large sized insulated boots. Don't be mistaken, the boot binding is probably the single most important piece of the snowshoe. The spikes at the bottom of the binding do a great job of gripping ice covered snow and are cut deep for good traction on downhill descents. The length of these snowshoes make it possible to hold up a person (6"3" 225 lb)on deep snow. I would caution going any shorter in length for deep powder. These snowshoes are made in Canada with good solid construction, and still are fairly lightweight for their size. I believe I will get a lot of use out of these for many years to come.
