Wild Game Innovations iR4 Souting Camera Review:
We first started using this camera in the winter of 2009, getting pictures of bucks after the hunting season. I was happy with how the camera performed doing what we wanted it to do, showing us what bucks made it through the hunting season, as the winter went on, it seemed as if the infrared flash almost like died down and pictures during the night were hard to see. Still I was satisfied on the performance of this camera.
We then put out this camera again that summer to get pictures of velvet bucks, it was still taking pictures but it seemed as if the quality of the pictures started to decline.
In the summer of 2011, we set up the camera again for the same reason as the year prior, velvet bucks. The quality of the pictures is so bad, to the point where you cannot even tell if it is a buck or a doe, which causes a lot of frustration.
Bottom line is, if you want a cheap trail camera that will last you 6 months to a year of taking good pictures it is the camera for you, otherwise I would look past it and get a better quality camera.
