Arctic Shield H7 Pro Series Jacket Review:
I really was happy with this jacket. While testing this jacket I was bowhunting deer and hunting coyotes in southwestern Minnesota with temperatures ranging from 0 degrees to 20 degrees. The jacket comes with an inner fleece jacket that can be worn by itself in the spring or fall of the year, but also aids in scent control and warmth in the colder, winter conditions.
This jacket exceeded my expectations for warmth when used with a good base layer. Sitting in zero degree weather with 20 mile per hour winds can be pretty brutal, but with this jacket I remained fairly comfortable throughout the entire hunt.
Some of the features that I personally liked about it was that it was very quiet since it has a soft suede outer shell. I also liked the water proof feature, but this is a feature that you come to expect in most hunting jackets. The cuffs around the wrists of the jackets are adjustable and very soft. It has 8 different pockets in the outer jacket, and 3 in the inner jacket.
Overall, I would highly recommend this jacket if the price tag is not too high. It is a great hunting jacket.
