Cabela's GORE-TEX MT050 Extreme Weather 7-in-1 Parka Review:
One heck of a parka! Only two minor knocks on this one: not available in waterfowl camo patterns such as Advantage MAX-4 HD or Mossy Oak New Shadow Grass camo patterns and this parka has a high price-tag. However, if you consider that you are getting 4 or 5 legitimately different uses, it isn't that bad of a value - just a bit harsh on the pocket book initially (I'm kicking out the reversible use options as they really don't mean much in terms of different functionality). The MT050 is the best fabric out there - extremely quiet, extremely durable, and extremely windproof & waterproof, yet breathable. With 150 grams of Thinsulate LiteLoft insulation, you'll stay very warm in nearly all conditions. Ample pocket storage - the pocket on the back is great for hauling out stuff to the tree stand or on a longer trek. Great size options (talls and upto 3XL). The jacket weighs in around 7 pounds, so it is a bit on the heavy side, but not bad. Overall, this is one of the best performing and most flexible parkas out there.
