This is the first year I've tried a Bull-Pac. The first thing you notice about this frame is how solid it is. The second thing you notice is how light it is. It is over a pound lighter than the Cabela's Alaskan Guide Frame. This frame is also much shorter than the Cabela's model which made it a lot easier going through brush as it didn't get hung up on limbs and such while packing out an elk. Another feature I liked is the padding that is between your back and the frame it self covers your back all the way down to the bottom of the frame. What that does is it keeps any blood from getting onto your shirt or pants while packing out fresh meat. So you stay much cleaner than when you use the Cabela's model. The pack is adjustable and is comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps are extra wide to prevent any digging in. The price for this frame seems a bit high but this should be the last frame you ever have to buy. A great overall frame.
