Cabela's GORETEX Pinnacle Gloves Review:
I was hunting coyotes in SD on a cold day. After our 4th setup, I could not keep my hands warm anymore. I have somewhat poor circulation in my hands and feet and always struggle to keep those extremities warm.
In the afternoon we headed home and made a stop-off at Cabela’s. I walked in, went right to clothing and found a salesperson and asked for the warmest pair of gloves that I could still shoot with. Needless to say I spent $50 on the gloves - by far, the most I’ve ever spent on gloves. I upgraded from 30 grams of Thinsulate (what I wore in the past) to 150 grams and now my hands have never been warmer!
We just had a cold snap where it was -12 degrees F and I was blowing out snow from the driveway. My feet were a touch cold, but not my hands! I am very impressed so far with these gloves. My only issue is now I won't have an excuse if I miss a coyote shot in the cold of winter.
