I took down my first MN buck this year with a 295 gr. Powerbelt Aerotip bullet. The double lung shot created quite a hole -- the bullet did its job!
While sightin in my TC Omega, the Powerbelt shot very consistently and patterned well.
Compared to the Barnes Spit-fire, the spitfire patterned 4 inches left at 100 yards vs. the Powerbelt. If you use different bullets -- practice shooting that bullet first. They do shoot differently.
Also, the Powerbelt happens to fit in my barrel about perfect. There is some resistance, but not a ton. The Barnes Spit-fire goes in much harder.
The Powerbelt is a great value bullet that shoots consistently and will rip a nice hole in the target!
