Savage Arms Model 110 .223 Rifle Review:
Great shooting rifle. My only, and I mean only, issue is that ballistic tip or hollow point shells jam when trying to load. Boat tail shells, with a rounder top load OK. Sharp pointed bullets catch right at the bas of the barrel and jam. I figured out how to apply pressure with my finger to load it, but it does slow down the shooting. I have a BSA Sweet .223 scope, custom trigger pulling 2 lbs. and a Harris pivoting bipod on my rifle and it is dead on at 100 yards. I have extreme confidence in shooting this rifle. For the money, excellent value -- shoots great. Only issue is reloading.
