Beretta AL391 Urika 12 gauge shotgun Review:
I have owned this gun now for 5 years and it has functioned flawlessly on everything from light loads to 3' waterfowl loads. I use it for pheasant, ducks, geese and clays. I have had two malfunctions that I can remember, one was due to a malfunctioning shell of poor quality, and the other was due to fine particles of soil/sand blowing into the receiver on a dry windy day in a layout blind. It has been in the duck slough and in subzero temps and has always performed well. It is gas operated so the recoil is minimal even with big loads. I have added the gel tech recoil pad and it makes shooting clays a breeze. The one thing that is tricky on this gun is getting out the plug for use of more than three shells. That is best performed by a gunsmith, but once it is out it comes in and out easily. Great all around reliable autoloader.
