Cabela's Tactical Tat'r Turkey Vest Review:
The Cabela's Tactical Tat'r Turkey Vest was expensive as compared to its performance. From a positive standpoint, we liked the alligator clip for holding scotch brite or sandpaper in the friction call pocket. Also, the padding/seat is among the most comfortable we tested (this includes the padded back - very nice for resting against a tree). From a negative standpoint, we were frustrated with how small the vest wore; it fit very tight when filled with gear. Additionally, we felt the shell pocket took up a prime position that should be used for a slate call (right handed caller); as in most hunts, you only need a few shells (not a whole box). Lastly, we wished more than just the bottom of the seat was waterproof (if you've been rained on in the spring, you know what I mean).
